Title: Plymouth A/C Clutch Coil Wiring ?
Post by: ramiroelliot on November 15, 2024, 12:43:55 AM
I have a 1999 Plymouth Grand Voyager 3.3, without Rear A/C

The a/c compressor is good but the a/c clutch pulley & bearing are old and rusted. And might as well change the coil.

On my factory oem a/c clutch coil now, it has 2 rubber looking sleeves with 2 wires from each sleeve coming out of the coil. So 4 wires in total are coming out of the a/c clutch coil.

I believe it was 1 wire went to a ground on the compressor ( it looks like it has a little small tiny box covering the ground ) and the other wires go into a harness that plugs into the rest of the cars main harness.

While looking online for a new a/c clutch kit, ALL OF THE NEW COILS HAVE ONLY 2 WIRES COMING OUT AND HAVE NO PLUG, JUST 2 STRIPPED WIRES, HOW DO I WIRE THIS

*NOTE: SOME COILS SHOW A PLUG. DOES IT JUST PLUG IN PLACE

HOW DO I WIRE THIS INTO THE OEM PLUG / HARNESS THAT I HAVE

WHATS THE EASIEST WAY TO DO THIS

THANKS FOR THE HELP
