Title: Need a Rebuilt Carb
Post by: DENNIS P NOLAN on October 17, 2024, 11:14:22 AM
Hello Plymouth Family
I have a 39 P-8 sedan, and I believe that the carb is way out-
I have tried to dial in with no progress.
I am looking for a professionally rebuilt carb-
100% stock-
Suggestions-? on where I could get one?
Thanks
D

How wedded are you to 100% stock?

If you only want a good driver, there is a company that makes new replacements that might work. Other than seeing their ads in the AACA magazine, I don't know much about them: Daytona Parts with a web site at https://daytonaparts.com/universal-replacement-carburetor.html The show their UN2 single barrel carb installed on a 1938 Plymouth in one of the photos.

If you are going for 100% stock this is off the table. But it might be an option otherwise.
