Hi All,
I will be taking delivery of a 1941 Plymouth P12 Special Deluxe 4 door sedan this week that is painted "West Point Gold". From what I have found, this was a very rare Plymouth color which was only available in 1941. I plan to obtain the build card from the Chrysler historical archives to verify that it is the original color. Does anyone have a source that can identify how many '41 Plymouths were painted this color and how the paint name came to be?
I have no clue how that name came to be but I like it.
Please post photos once you have acquired it!
