The 1936-49 Plymouth Parts Book calls it a "Steering Gear Arm" (part type code 19-27-2). For your 1941 PT125 the part number is 589748 which was also used on the 1937 PT50, 1938 PT57, 1939 PT81, and 1940 PT105.
Chrysler worked its way through ascending part numbers so the smaller the number the earlier the part was designed and first used. The number for your steering gear arm is from the early 1930s though I don't see it in earlier Plymouth parts books. So my educated guess is that it was first used on a Dodge truck, maybe around 1932 or so. If you can find a Dodge light truck parts book you will probably find they used the same part for a number of years which might give you a larger range of possible sources for a replacement part.
AMS Obsolete does not have one of these, per a part number search, but that doesn't mean that they do not have a good used one for sale. Contact them and ask about the part...
