Just wanted to say HI. I have owned Chevys, Fords, and Pontiacs, but I just bought my first Mopar. A nice solid 2nd owner 1966 Belvedere 2. 318 auto 4 door car. Should be a fun cruiser. I will probably pick you guys brains on a few things.
Welcome, We love pictures
Pics coming. It has been raining all day and more planned for tomorrow.

Nice ride!
I can see miles of fun and good memories in your car!
Enjoy!
Thanks for the photo.
That is a nice looking car, looks very solid and complete. congrats on the purchase.
Thanks. It is solid and straight. Just needs the little things addressed like any old car does.
Well after doing a tune up to the motor, I discovered it is not a 318 as the seller had stated, but actually a 273. I know they are similar and share alot of parts, but geez learn what you got.
Well I guess I can't blame the previous owner too much for the engine misidentification. He got a 1966 repair manual for the car. In 1966 they changed the engine codes. But in this manual it has the older codes. It shows H= 318 which in fact for 1966 means 273. I guess the manual was printed in 1965 maybe?
Going to be a busy next week. I got a front power disc brake conversion kit and a front end rebuild kit to install.

Well got the front end rebuilt and the disc brake conversion installed. Working on bending up new brake lines now. I also did a tune up, new thermostat and upper hose. Also new valve cover gaskets.
