Considering changing carburators but do not Know what to do or what parts I need. thankyou
I ran a BB-1 carburetor on my 30-U and it bolted right up. That carburetor is considered to be a universal carburetor for many applications so if you have a complete one it can be adjusted to use on your car by moving some of the linkage parts. As I recall the most difficult adjustment was for the choke cable and even that did not require any additional parts. If you don't have a complete one however you may need to find, or make what's missing and that can be problematic as there were many variations of that carburetor. The earlier ones were iron while the later ones were pot metal. The earlier ones being preferable.
