Hi all , I have a 36 Ply. 2dr. sedan , curious as to why there is an exterior door lock on pas. side only . anybody ? Don
Most manufactures only had a passengers side door lock as I was told because they did not want people standing in traffic to unlock a drivers side door. (unlock the door, slide across the seat and hammer down) Not sure what year they started installing on drivers side.
In addition, it makes it impossible to lock your ignition keys inside your car!
Something that I still sometimes do! :o
