Title: 1948 Plymouth Master Cylinder
Post by: bobhanson on February 28, 2022, 07:11:27 PM
HELP! I have ordered a new master cylinder for my 1948 Plymouth coupe. The old one has the brake and clutch hinge pin in it. The new one has shipped but I have not received it yet. In the picture of the new one it has no pin. The new one looks like it has a set screw to hold a pin in place. Question is this...is the pin pressed in on the old one? I've taped it some with a dead blow hammer and it doesn't appear to be moving. Do I need to heat it up to remove it or what? See Pics.
