Title: Lone Star Shootout October the 21-22 in Houston TX
Post by: Cliff54 on June 02, 2006, 05:53:13 AM
I am going to go to this years Texas Lone Star Shootout. Showcasing the FAST MOPARS and having fun with the "not so fast mopars" too, like my old 54 Savoy.
I want to enter my Plymouth in the original judged slot, BUT.. I wonder if I made a mistake in changing the 6 volt system to 12 volt? I wonder if I need to convert that back before the show? I mean its just a DRIVER its not really a SHOW CAR!? what do you guys think?

Oh before I forget .... If anyone is in the Texas/Baycity area Oct. 21-22 come on by and check out this event ...and we would like to meet and talk to you.

I would not worry about it - the change would be pretty big - just to enter a show.

I know the guy who promotes that show - very nice guy!  He owns a company that makes CD-Rom manual for old Mopars.
