Does anybody know if there are any speed bleeders available (or who makes them-?) for a 39 Ply-? sure would make life easier in doing these wheel cylinders-Thanks, D
Start by giving Billy a call at White Post Restoration in Virginia. (540) 837-1140.
With a bit of luck they are open and not stuck in traffic on I-95 !
I think most (all?) years used a 7/16 fine thread for the bleeders, see: https://www.ply33.com/Parts/group5#5-67-01 Certainly the early ones for my 1933 did and the later ones for the P15 did too. I don't have the thread size description for part 691471 (used on the 1939 Plymouth) but have no reason to believe it is different. If you have a thread gauge you could check one of your existing bleeders to confirm.
A quick web search turns up at least one site with speed bleeders with that thread size: http://speedbleeder.com/size.htm I am sure there are other vendors.
