Hi- have a 1939 P-8
I took the tank in to be cleaned out- and it has many holes.
The technician-says the metal is very thin in many areas.
So, is it possible to get a sealer that might work?
Anyone with experience in this area?
Next question-
Anyone have thoughts on where to get a good replacement?
I see google has some listings from the East coast for $395.00 + Shipping-
Thanks,
Dennis
Hi Dennis think you need to look at this stuff POR15 High Performance Fuel Tank Sealer 236ml 8oz - Stops and Seals Rust, Corrosion and Pin-Holes, in the UK that would cost £20+ shipping. I'm pretty sure it's made in the States. Hope it helps. Tom

Dennis, on my 33 plymouth i had a very rusty tank. I tried to clean the tank but never washed it all out. I ended up buying a new tank made by tanks inc. I found it through summit racing with free shipping. It's great quality. I had a filler neck made instead of using the one sent. I would check out there site to see if they offer one for your 39.
Good luck!
