Do I need to remove the engine to replace the engine mounts or can I jack it up and get'r done?
The PA engine has no rear mount but the transmission mount acts as the rear mount. I think you have to loosen the transmission mount and then you can raise the engine to get to the front mount.
Discovered I didn't need to loosen rear mount to remove the front. Now, who re-vulcanizes these mounts?
Tanks,
Then and Now Automotive, a.k.a. Antique Auto Parts Cellar has a re-vulcanizing service for motor mounts.
