Title: 1948 Plymouth Vent window spring
Post by: Ernie Baily on April 22, 2020, 01:05:11 PM
Hello,
I'm to locate the small spring that is used to apply tension to allow the vent window to stay open. My passenger side vent window does not have one. Does anyone happen to have a extra one?

Thanks,
Ernie Baily

If you can't find an original spring, you might want to check at a hardware store that has an assortment
of springs that may include a spring that is close to what you need. McMaster-Carr may be another source
to check out. A little hot rodding ingenuity should get you there.

I have several, but, I am in the midst of moving across the country.
If you still need one, I should be connected back up with my car items in June.
