Title: Black Underhood Paint for 1955 Plymouth
Post by: 55BelvSpCpe on April 14, 2020, 09:56:37 PM
I am wanting to know what type of black paint is correct to use on a 1955 Plymouth Belvedere Sport Coupe in the engine compartment for the pulleys, fan, radiator, shroud, fire wall, and inner fenders? How much gloss should this paint be? What brands of primer and paint has anyone used, and had good results with?

Thank You

I would check out Canters.  They specialize in that sort of thing.

your best source for advice as far as gloss and what needs to be painted black would be the Tech Advisor for the 55 Plymouth listed in the Plymouth Bulletin.
