Hi folks I thought I would introduce myself. I am in western Canada. I own a couplke of old Mopars. A 1938 Plymouth and a 1953 Chrysler.
I am reviving my 1938. At this point I am attempting to build a reliable driver. As I go through various systems in the car I have been creating educational videos to share with others. There may be some good info here for beginners to learn. I have learned a ton from the vintage Mopar Community on-line. I like to give back, and help future old Mopar owners.

This still is a forum with good advice for Plymouth!
Unfortunately, a couple of years ago it had speed problems for a long time,
so it lost nearly all of its patronage.
Now we have only low traffic here, so You may have to wait for
answers to Your postings!

I am in South Florida and own a 1955 Plymouth Belvedere, I've owned it since 1977. As a member of the PLymouth Owners Club it is our responsibility to keep the history of Plymouth alive. Going to car shows so people know there were more than just Ford's and Chevy's around.
As our friend who is no longer with us would say " GET IN THEM, DRIVE THEM," reguardless of condition, not everyone has to be a show car.
Just checked out your "Introduction to Flathead Engines" video. Great job. Nice delivery, great photography.

Thanks for the kind words and warm welcome folks! I appreciate the feedback on my You Tube videos. It seems my efforts to share my learnings with other new old Mopar owners is well received. My idea is to try and help new, or long time owners get out to the garage, get dirty and learn all about your old Mopar. To encourage people to take care of a few things themselves. Take pride in your auto repair work, and you will be rewarded. These cars are not hard to figure out, and it's generally easy to access areas compared to newer autos. You guys all know this already, I'm sure.

Hi Keith, welcome to the POC... To second what GO said, the activity here on the POC has really fallen off during the last five years or so, with the slow speed and inability to post pix to the topic, people moved on to the FaceBook format. Another very active Plym/Dodge forum is the P15-D24 Forum. It is also a spin off of the POC. A lot of the regular contributors to the POC moved to the P15-D24 Forum.
Your '38 is very similar to my '39, the two cars share a lot of body parts. My car is a Resto-mod which many people in the POC don't care for, however, the car is one of the finest 39 converts in the country. for all practical purposes it is very stock looking. Most of the contributors to the POC Bulletin are purists. It is interesting to note that the topic covering the restoration of my 39 Plym conv cpe is the most active topic, over 26k viewer on the Bulletin.
