Title: PB Engine unknown part

Happy New Year to All,

Does anyone recognize this switch that is mounted on the left side of my engine, The two wires
were not hooked up to anything,

Looks like it was aftermarket. No idea what it might have been for.

Ok Thanks, Now that you've confirmed that it's not an original part I pulled it off to have a look at the back side
of it and it appears to be a seized push-pull type switch, so I'll assume that it was an early anti-theft device?

My guess would be that it was a remote start button .

Yes absolutely it could've been a remote start switch,

If this helps, it appears to have two ceramic halves on the back side with ARK LES
embossed above the screws for attaching the wires and it has HEAVY DUTY embossed
below.
