Title: Turn Signal Cancelling
Post by: dickf1976 on July 25, 2016, 12:10:14 PM
1956 Belvedere w/ automatic transmission. When I signal for a right turn, after turning right, the signal is cancelled, but when I signal for a left turn, after turning left, the signal is Not cancelled. Questions about the standard steering wheel on my car: 1. what is the approximate gap between back face of steering wheel and front edge of turn signal housing portion of steering column? 2. on the back side of the steering wheel, what is the distance between outer edge of a "prong" and the outer edge of the hub (hub fits over the splined portion of the steering shaft)? [prong is finger-like metal that trips the turn signal cancellation mechanism]. Thanks. Dick Friedman -- 847 256 1432;
