Hey Bob, We don't have covered bridges (very few anyway) in SD. We do have some pretty nice sights anyhow. Looks like the wheat harvest has pretty much finished here and they even have the straw all bailed up. Also the corn is looking great, hopefully we get a bumper crop. We do have a lot of lakes around here and pretty good fishing. Here is a picture of a couple of my own local beauties riding the fenders.

I was in Rapid City, Deadwood, Lead and Spearfish in '00. Also went to Wall's Drug store and Mt Rushmore. You are right, it is beautiful country out there.
