Title: For SD Glenn
Post by: RC Drown on March 29, 2013, 04:31:07 PM
Just have to ask, is the snow gone up there yet and if so, are you getting the '39 ready for its trip to Arizona?
Please take lots of photos on your journey next month. I so envy you. Good luck and a safe trip there and back..
Bob

Hi Bob, fired up the '41 got her out of the garage and rinsed off for a shine and show in New Bern, NC tomorrow. First run in a long time. Just havn't had the interest with all going on from the storms, Irene and Sandy that is. Gonna be a nice day in the 60's so it should be a nice day. Hopefully I can remember my camera. How are you feeling and how is your engine coming along? Brian

Thanks for asking Brian, I am doing good. Monday we drive up to Cooperstown ( two hours northwest) to have my chemo port removed.
Cooper and I walk atleast a mile every day, sometimes more if the weather permits.
You are the third person to tell me that they had thier old Plymouths out for exercise, good for you and the other two guys
I will be looking forward to seeing the photos from tomorrow, if you want you can email them to me at .
Our first car show isn't until the first weekend in May at The Dutchess County Fairgrounds in Rhinebeck, NY
Have fun tomorrow, Bob

Hi Bob, I see you are doing great, getting Plymouth running, (were you driving the Plymouth to Cooperstown?) ,and Cooper is doing good. I have not started to getting the 39 ready for Tucson yet, I still have snow up as high as being on the hood, and snow pilled up high behind it, I will take a picture tomorrow and post it. Today was in the 40s, warmest day we have had this spring. Hopefully we get some rain tomorrow, that will help cut some of the white stuff. lol The weather man said it will rain, hope so. I am planning on Tucson, even if the Plymouth has to stay home, sure was looking forward to the trip in style thou. (the GPS says it is 1586 miles to Tucson, maybe I should fly.) I would hate to have to take the Mustang Convertible. lol. I will quit swearing now....... Take care Bob, and Good Luck to you SD Glenn

Go, Google Cooperstown, NY when you get a chance, it is the home of the Baseball Hall of Fame, Farmer's Museum and named after the author, James Fanimore Cooper. It has one of the best cancer research hosps in the states
