Title: Plymouth hood emblem
Post by: dickf1976 on October 25, 2012, 12:36:01 PM
I have restored a '56 Belvedere, which has an emblem at the center of the front "lip" of the hood. The emblem is chrome-plated, contains a protruding image of a sailing ship (a la Plymouth rock) and the passenger side of it contains an area painted white; the driver's side area is painted black. Within both painted areas is a stick-figure, kneeling and holding something. I have removed the old, faded paint, and will prime and spray-paint it. Q - On the original emblem, were the stick figures painted, OR not covered with paint. Dick Friedman --
