Title: 1947-52 Radiator
Post by: yorel on July 19, 2012, 06:23:40 PM
Does anyone know if a 1947 Plymouth radiator will fit a 1952 Plymouth?  I found a '47 radiator on an auction list, and need one for a '52.

I might suggest that you post this same question on the P15-D24 forum as I think you will get a quicker response.

Hollander's 23rd Edition (reprint) Interchange manual states:

Plymouth 1942-48 (U.S.) radiators will interchange (with each other)

Plymouth 1951-52 (U.S.) radiators will interchange (with each other)

For 1951-52, part number 1456175 is described as "standard"

part number 1456236 is described as "high altitude"

Thanks Pat for looking this up for me.  Saved me from buying something I can't use!  I appreciate the information.
