Title: door weatherstripping
Post by: dickf1976 on May 07, 2012, 02:46:13 PM
'56 Belvedere 4-door sedan. Q- On the underside of each door, is the weatherstripping CEMENTED to the underside, OR not cemented but held in position by metal or plastic fasteners (that go through openings in the bottom of the door)?

Dick, without seeing the bottom of your door, I would guess the holes there are to drain any water out, that gets by your window seals. The weather strip cement they use now days will hold the strip in place on the bottom of your doors. Just my thoughts, Good luck. SD Glenn
