Title: '54 Model 104 Heater Switch
Post by: Gaby51 on May 04, 2012, 07:19:58 PM
Hi All,
I have a 1954 Belvedere with the Model 104 Heater.  As I am slowly restoring the car, I'm having trouble getting the Heater's Control Panel Ferrules off.  I got one of them off, but I don't really seem to have the correct tool to do this, so I was wondering if any of you know what I should use so that I don't destroy these parts.
Also, the wires to the Push-Pull Heater Motor Switch have basically rotted off, so I don't really know which way to connect them.  I know one terminal should be connected to the Battery/Power Source, while the other terminal should be connected to the Heater Motor.  Since the original wires had already disconnected themselves, I'm lost.
Below are a couple of picture I took this morning of the switch from above and behind.
