Title: 1940 Plymouth ads
Post by: RC Drown on April 27, 2012, 07:02:38 PM
Here are some scans of some ads that I have collected.  I have many more, but my scanner won't do the large ones

This is a reduced copy of a full page ad out of the "Saturday Evening Post" in 1944.  There was a whole series of these ads by the same artist showing the dependability of the 1940 Plymouths.  I think I have all of them, but this one is the only one that I have had reduced.  There are even ads by this same artist that shows how the 1940 Plymouths helped each branch of the Military and railroad during the war

I have a framed "centerfold" (2 page) 1940 Plymouth ad featuring a green 4 door sedan hanging in my garage.

Bob ,

Thanks for posting the 1940 Plymouth ads.  Enjoyed looking at them.

Pat - I have the same two page green 4-door ad framed.  Closest I can find to my green 1940 two door sedan!

Here are two more, I think the two page green Plymouth is the same one that Jim and Pat have mentioned

Mine is similar to the middle one, but the man is standing on the right side of the ad, and wearing a hat.
