I could use a bit of help. Does anybody have any pictures of the 1939 Model Plymouth, with different paint colors, perfer original colors? I saw a 39 in a museum that was painted Black fenders and a real light blue metalic color for the main body. I read where two tone was an option for 39. Anybody with any thoughts on a color for this one. (Attached) Thanks

I don't believe the '39 came in two-tone colors. Dodge came out with two tones in 1940 and Plymouth in 1941. Not to say someone couldn't have ordered that way. Earlier (37 etc) if you didn't pay extra for a solid color, you got black fenders regardless of body color. Solid colors were a "big thing" back then. We tend to think of a car with one body color and black fenders as special now!!!!
