Title: 40 Plymouth P10 Hood Chrome Strip
Post by: 40Coupe on July 09, 2011, 08:53:15 PM
I cannot seem to figure out how to remove the chrome strip that runs the top of the hood between the two 'hood wings'. Anybody know??
Thanks in advance.

If it is like any of the other Mopar products, the trim has about 3 or 4 tabs that insert through slots between the hood halves..these are then snugged up by a bit of tension and then twisted to lock in place..to remove..untwist the tabs till they are parallel to the hood seam.I suggest grasping the tabs with a plier and pushing up and down a slight bit with to remove any rust/trask or paint bond and make them free to move so as not to kink your trim on removal..
