Title: chit chat
Post by: SD Glenn on May 12, 2011, 09:04:50 PM
Hi guys and gals, Just a bit of chit chat, not looking for an answer on anything.
Anyhow, I have been a bit busy. Spring is here, how do I know?/ The Crappies are in the Bay, the boys are catching them by the dozen, about 13-14 inches long, makes a nice fry pan full. LOL Crappies spawn in the bay every year, so in the spring we get our fill of fresh fish.
I installed seat belts in the Plymouth today, and all new (I found 20) grease zerks, I had the old type on the car, my grease gun wouldn't work on them, (does anybody want the original zerks?) now its greased good, and a CD Player. I hid the CD player good, and the speakers too, so no one can tell if I have one, unless its turned on. lol Now that the turn signals are working right I have been enjoying driving the car, I have put close to 200 miles on it this week, just around the lake and into town. It sure does drive and handle nice, I was thinking about shock absorbers but I don't need them. Doesn't go fast enough, I have had it up to 45 MPH for a short time, WOW... lol... Having a good ole time thou. lol.
Later guys and gals

Glenn,

Glad that spring has sprung in the Dakotas and needless to say, also very pleased that you have been able to put 200 miles on the Plymouth this week. :)

Also sad that there are no photos of your outings :(

My wife, Cooper and I were out and about today, just over 50 miles on the "Wayback Machine", nowhere special, just riding around on the back roads

I love crappie .... looks like you are in South Dakota.   Lot's of bays in South Dakota to choose from too ... wonderful place.   If it will quit snowing here in Colorado I might be able to get serious and fire up "Aunt Margaret" and take her for a spin ... maybe find a crappie or two!
