Title: A January Day in the Catskills of NY
Post by: RC Drown on January 19, 2011, 05:38:15 PM
Since today was rather warm, in the upper 20's, and I had replaced the exhaust flange gasket the other night, I wanted to take advantage of the weather and let the old Plymouth run up to temp and listen to see how much quieter she was.  So naturally it was a photo opportunity for me, Cooper and the Plymouth.  Ah, life is good, Cooper and I even went for a short ride in the dooryard, no use being foolish unless you act it :)

Great, looking good. I see you have as much snow as I do, here in SD. We don't have a heat wave though, about -17 right now, or so the TV says. I'm staying in the house..... I envy you.
Later,
Glenn

Hi Bob, just googled Neversink. Went to Smallwood as a kid to an uncles' place and had a friend that had a place in East Meredith, off rte. 28, but all many moons ago. More than I care to remember. Small world. Nice picture of you and Cooper, he must be a real buddy. Enjoy the New Year.

Bob,

I like the shot of your garage, through the windshield of your '40. Once a gearhead, always a gearhead....

Pat,

My son's 1968 Chevy one ton daulie is in the right hand bay for the winter, it also makes for a good bar to belly up to in the cold evenings :)

Brian,

Smallwood is less than an hour kinda southwest of us, and East Meridith isn't too far from Oneonta and Delhi.

There is a good carshow in June at Big Indian which is on Rt 28, it is a nice 30 mile ride thru the mountains from here on back roads and I do mean back roads :)

LOL Bob,

I'm going to print the picture of you, Cooper and the dualie as soon as I get a new printer cartridge. Looks like you're just havin' too much fun. Your photo could have been taken in my neighbor's shed; the setting is very similar.
