Once again, taking advantage of the "anything & everything" provision in the "General Category" section, I will now list all the flathead-powered vehicles I've owned:
'36 Plymouth P-2 4 door touring sedan '47 Plymouth Special Deluxe 4 door (high school car-didn't survive high school)
'36 Plymouth convertible (still have it) '47 Ford station wagon
'38 Ford Standard 4 door '47 Mercury convertible
'42 Cadillac (3 on the tree) '48 Plymouth Special Deluxe 4 door
'46 Dodge 1/2 ton pickup '49 Dodge Coronet 4 door
'52 Willys CJ3-A Jeep
'54 Plymouth Cranbrook
Pat O'Connor one 4 banger, 7 six bangers, and 4 V-8s
I have only had 2.
1928 Plymouth Q (Still own)
1951 Plymouth Cambridge Club Coupe (High School Car and it has survived. I have owned it for 45 years)
I have had two flat heads, first one was in high school when I had a '51 ford two door and the second one is my 1940 P-10
Business coupe that I have had for just over 22 years. The flathead in the Plymouth is a P-12 that was in the car when we got it. The engine still takes " a licken and keeps on ticken" via JCS from way back
I realized last night that I had forgotten two flatheads; a '50 Ford coupe flathead 6, and a '53 Ford 2 door hardtop, the last flathead V-8 for Ford. Of all of them, only the '36 Plymouth remains.
Glad to hear that others have flatheads in their past and present; just out of high school, I learned the hard way that a '47 Ford V-8 water pump (it had 2-driver's side and pasenger side) was also the front motor mount.

I guess I could add the 1948 Pontiac two door Torpedo that I had approx a month, ended up giving it to my neighbor as him and his Father were looking for a project to work on together
