I have had two flat heads, first one was in high school when I had a '51 ford two door and the second one is my 1940 P-10
Business coupe that I have had for just over 22 years.  The flathead in the Plymouth is a P-12 that was in the car when we got it.  The engine still takes " a licken and keeps on ticken" via JCS from way back

I realized last night that I had forgotten two flatheads; a '50 Ford coupe flathead 6, and a '53 Ford 2 door hardtop, the last flathead V-8 for Ford. Of all of them, only the '36 Plymouth remains.

Glad to hear that others have flatheads in their past and present; just out of high school, I learned the hard way that a '47 Ford V-8 water pump (it had 2-driver's side and pasenger side) was also the front motor mount.

I guess I could add the 1948 Pontiac two door Torpedo that I had approx a month, ended up giving it to my neighbor as him and his Father were looking for a project to work on together
