Title: Need Help
Post by: chetbrz on November 23, 2010, 08:14:03 AM
Could anyone post a picture of what the original door weather stripping look like for the P15.  I don?t believe my car had any when I took her apart.  I am not sure even what to look for?

Tks,  Chet?

Thanks Mr Plymouths,

I have this same weather stripping which I purchased from Restoration Specialties.  The rubber is a little harder then the Steele Rubber item but the same size.  I am afraid that if I glue this on it might make the doors hard to close.   I might consider repurchasing the rubber from Steele, their product is extremely soft and much more flexible.  I thought the original weather stripping was different then this item that?s why I asked for a picture if someone still had the original rubber on their car.

Chet...

Thanks Sebastiano

The item Mr Plymouths recommended is the correct weather strip.  I founded a piece of the old stuff still stuck to the driver?s side door.

No picture necessary,  Chet?
