He supplied this phone number. I don't know anymore about it than what is here. Guy needs a transmission.

I have extended a suggestion to broaden his search by llisting for him the 1955 edition of Hollanders cars that a three speed without fluid drive would interchange to his '49 Deluxe. Some of these transmissions from various years and makes have notes saying certain parts or arrangements have to be made for it to work with his car.
He replied saying he would like to keep it simple and would I tell him those cars and years that are a direct replacement. This is where I get a little vague on specifics, so I asked him the model number of his Plymouth, there were two wheel basis in that year and I assume that could make a difference. He has not replied to that. Am I on the right track to narrow his options? My first hand knowledge is limited to the toploaded truck tranny.
Have him contact Dave at Fat Fendered Relics
