My 31PA is stored outside (under a good cover) each winter. I've always applied a fresh coat of wax before putting on the cover each fall. I recently read that you can apply the wax in the fall and not buff it off until spring, but I've seen conflicting reports about whether this is just for the chrome or for the whole car.
Any comments?
I wouldn't. Might be extremely difficult to remove int he spring.
Bryand,
I wouldn't do that either. For the car or the chrome.
My 2 cents, Chet...
I have been told that if you don't remove wax from the surface it will attract moisture. Since the car will be out under a cover, moisture will collect regardless of how good the cover is. I used to keep my car outside and covered. When I took the cover off the underside of the hood always had condensation there.
