I was searching the web a few years back about my 1954 Savoy and found this information in the ALLPAR web site......
http://www.allpar.com/old/plymouth/plymouth-1953-54.html
Anyone know why Lanny Knutson had Photos of a 1953 Windsor in this informative article about 1953-1954 Plymouths ? ???
Has anyone else ever noticed it?
just wondering....

my guess would be poor editing with proofreading mailed in.
As an owner of a 54 Savoy I have tried to read any and all related articles..yes I noticed the pictures but as Chrysler, as it is the mother company I really paid it no mind..there a re a number of problems within that site but for all the info you do get..one can overlook a few boo-boos
are you now on the road again? waiting to see the pictures with the skirts affixed....
Tim,
I am finished with the refurb on the radiator and replacing the water pump, freeze plugs, and engine flush. Now that I have been working on the engine.... I decided to fix the clutch, pressure plate and bearing assembly. So I guess I am about 2 weeks from getting my beauty back on the road! This fall I plan on working on the interior with new insulation, headliner, and carpet.
Give me 5 years and ANOTHER $8,000 and I will have a very nice..... $6,000 Plymouth Savoy! ;D

I noticed that as well but just assumed it was a typo so to speak. Lots of good info there on the '53 and '54 Plymouths.
In answer to Cliff54, I did not include the '53 Chrysler Windsor pictures with my '53-54 Plymouth article. I was contacted by the Autopar people and asked if they could use my article, first printed in Plymouth Bulletin 162 and I was pleased to grant permission for them to do so. Since the article was written in (my) pre-computer times (in 1987 for the very first Plymouth Bulletin I edited), the article had to be transcribed from the magazine, as is stated at the head of the article appearing on the website. I did not review the transcription, so there may be other typos as well.
If the Windsor picture had been my mistake, I'd own up to it. But in this case, I can't. I'm glad somebody's paying attention.
Well Lanny thanks for giving me the skinny! I try to read anything about my Plymouth that I can ( your article was/is very informative) and I just found it odd to see a Windsor as the art. I printed the article and show it to folks as they come by at car shows and ask me questions about my 54 Savoy.. its very helpful!
again thanks Lanny
