Title: Need exhaust and intake manifolds; 54 Savoy
Post by: Savoy54 on March 26, 2006, 04:43:24 PM
I need a good set of intake and exhaust manifolds for my '54 Savoy with Powerflite.  I don't know if there's a difference from the 218 to the 230, but I have the 230.  My exhaust is completely cracked apart and the intake has a crack as well.

I need both pieces, with a functioning heat valve as well.  Please email

Thanks, Chris

Give Moore's in Rapid City,SD a call at 605-348-4926
Two years ago I got a good intake and exhaust manifold for my 1940 Plymouth from them.
I have dealt with them for along time, with no complaints.
They also have a website, but I can't remember it off the top of my head.
Good luck,
Bob

I just got a good one for free from a friend, but the heat riser valve is frozen.  Any suggestions to free it up?

Lots of penetrating oil and maybe some heat to the manifold.
