A number of cylinder heads will fit your engine but take care you do not use one from a 3 1/4 bore engine such as a Dodge or later Plymouth as you will wind up reducing your compression ratio.

Obviously it is best to stick with a 39 head but a Plymouth head from 35 to 41, 201 engine will work. You would be wise to check the part number with a reference book as a head removed from a 39 , 66 years later may not be what it ought to be.
