A couple of my old car nut buddies, (Model A guys,) and I took a little ride around Wilmington this morning. We stopped at the new section of the River Walk that the town is putting in. Sorry we didn't all "line up," but it was sort of a spur of the moment ride and really pretty informal and quite short. The old Plymouth was much up to the trip, however short, though. She's been sitting for a couple of weeks waiting for me to get around to a drive! Couple pics with my girl in the foreground and the A's blending in with the modern iron. BTW, I totally agree with Bob that we should all send in more pics of our drives, no matter how insignificant they may seem, they are of interest to a lot of us!! GA

I emailed the president of the local chapter of the Model A club last year, asking if I could tag along on one of their cruises, as there's no Plymouths anywhere near me....he never replied.

sounds as though they are just plain rude! When I lived on Long Island, there was a Ford club that used to welcome anyone. I even won a first place trophy in a car show they sponsered. Imagine that a Plymouth taking first place in a Ford show.
Thanks for thinking of me :) I am pleased that you took time out to post some photos of your outing. I honestly enjoy seeing photos of other member's cars being driven and also the surrounding area as back drops. These cars are and were meant to be driven and enjoyed :)

Being that yesterday was Memorial Day and that my Father is a World Two Vet and I am a Viet-Nam era vet, Dad and I attended the flag changing ceremony at the Cemetery five miles from here in the Plymouth, then we came home and I made him an A&W Root Beer float, which he enjoyed
