Title: ...asking for another Plymouth owner
Post by: old-fart on March 07, 2010, 08:00:51 PM
Does anyone here know IF fenders (I'm assuming he means all 4) from a 1937 Plymouth coupe (I'm not sure what exact model he has) interchange (fit?) on a 1939 Plymouth Business coupe (he says its a P-8 Deluxe model)???

Thanks In Advance people  :)

I wouldn't be too surprised if the 1937 and 1938 interchange. But the 1939 have totally different headlights so they will be different.

The basic body, including the doors, rear fenders and running boards are all the same '37, 38 & 39.
From the cowl forward everything changed on the '39's because of the "V" windshield. The '39 rear fenders will have large holes for the recessed tail lights where-as the '37-38 will only have bolt holes. The '37-38 bumpers are different from the '39's. ....Bill
