Title: What are they?
Post by: TodFitch on September 14, 2009, 12:18:10 AM
Today I was given a couple of items by a fellow who found them in a 1930 vintage Chevrolet. He said he thought they were Plymouth items and one does say Plymouth on it. But I don't recognize either of them. First up, a name plate made of thin aluminum with Plymouth on it but unlike any Plymouth name plate I've seen. Second up a cover/holder of some sort. Looks like it might have held a switch or light bulb.

Anyone recognize these items and can tell me what they are from? Thanks!

(Looks like I can only attach two files to this post, so here are links to all four of my photos:

I believe the brass tags are PLYMOUTH TWINE trademark items.  Plymouth was the maker of bailer and agricultural binding twine.  Those may have been on the end of a wooden spool of the same.  that other thing looks like a doorbell button switch facia.
