Recently I adjusted the torsion springs of my '76 Fury as the car was standing far too high.
Although measurements show the car stands left and right exactly the same height, I wonder whether it matters that the adjusting bolts stick out with different lengths.
Does the equal height left and right also indicate that the torsion springs bear the same load?
I have the impression that the car is firmer on the right-hand side but that maybe just a feeling.
Shock absorbers have been renewed maybe 1500 miles ago.
Any suggestions or tips?
Adjusting height should be part of a wheel alignment. That would be done first, then the camber adjustments, then the toe in. If you have altered the height, I would strongly recommend you have the other adjustments checked on an alignment rack. The length of the adjustment bolt might suggest one torsion bar is not up to specs, but in practical terms, it does not make much difference if all the adjustments come in within acceptable limits. dp
