Title: 1939 Plymouth convertible latches
Post by: 39Plymouth on January 11, 2009, 11:14:39 PM
I am looking to help my dad complete his restoration by finding either a used set (probably impossible) of convertible latches and the locking mechanisms for a '39 roadster.  Since that probably doesn't exist, I was wondering if anyone out there might know of someone who had a mold created of these pieces.  If there is any help anyone could provide, I'd greatly appreciate it.  You can email me at

Thanks so much.

Bill - check with William Steed - he has postings on this forum.  Years ago there was a guy up in New England who made these but I don't know that he is still around.....

Thank you very much.  I sent a message to him...providing I did that correctly.?  Hopefully I'll hear from him.

Thanks so much for your help.
