Title: a great Thanksgiving tour
Post by: Chris in Jax on November 30, 2008, 10:07:57 PM
Friday just after lunch Judy & I picked up 2 of her grandchildren in the P4 and headed for Ormond Beach FL.
we drove in the 51st annual Gaslight Parade that evening. everything from Model Ts to 60s cars and lots of them.
since 1987 I have driven in almost every Gaslight Parade and it's always enjoyable.
Saturday's car show was excellent as always, saw lots of old familiar cars and lots of new entrants.
met another POC member who was there with his drop-dead gorgeous '34 sedan.?
ashamed to say I cannot remember his name- please identify yourself if you are reading this!
left the show in time to enjoy a liesurely drive up A1A and made it home before dark.
the weather was perfect and the '37 purred like a pussycat throughout the trip.

Good to hear you are using your car for it's intended purpose. I used to live in Ormond, it was a great place in the early 70's. If you are out driving around you must have finished your rear windows.
