Title: 41 dash trim
Post by: notdavidspade on June 26, 2008, 03:48:49 PM
I need a piece of dash trim for my 41.  The only piece I really need is the lower right most piece.  If someone has a nice set, I may consider buying that if the price is right.  Let me know.  Thanks
Stephen in FL.

Are you talking the stainless trim or maybe the sharp wedge that is part of the stamped dashboard? Maybe the glovebox door?

Stephen,
Probably have one in stock.
Would have to see if it was part of a complete set first.
Let me know if you are still looking for it and I'll check for you.

Here is my very rough dash.

The arrow points to the piece that I'm missing.? As you can see there is a clock mounted in this area.? Right now the clock is inopperable, so I'm removing it and having a patch welded in and then I'll need a piece of trim here.? Since its already at the sandblasters, I probably wouldn't be too interested in a new dash unless the price was very reasonable.? Linsay, I'm still looking for the trim piece.? As you can tell there isn't a big rush just yet, as it will be awhile before I need it, but I wanted to see whats availible.? Thanks everyone!

:)  Hey don't get rid of that clock ... It looks like mine on my 1940 Plymouth ... Some one would probly buy that for $100.00 at least on ebay... Theres a guy that reproduces the face and another can get it working ...  Or you could probly trade someone for a dash ..  Happy PLY-mouthing DANiel

Thanks for the info Daniel!  I've been wondering what the heck it was to.  Is it mounted there on a 40??  I just thought it was a very strange place to mount a clock.  All the 41's I've seen have a clock over the ashtray by the speaker grill.
