In the process of disassembly of my car, I'm realizing that I'm either going to need a very good body man, or some rear fenders for my car. First question is are there any differences between rear fenders among models? Keep in mind I have a wagon. If there are differences, are there any that are the same as a wagon? Thanks in advance!

According to the '41 parts book there were three different rear fenders used depending on the model. The listed parts are for: (1) all cars except 7 Pass. Sedan, Limo. and Suburban (2) 7 Pass. Sedan and Limo. and (3) Suburban.
I have also been told there are differences in the front fenders based on seriel number. I don't know if that is true for the rears. I suggest Lindsay McConnell may be a good source for this information. You might also discuss this with Larry Jenkins the '41 tech advisor.
I don't know much but the car bodies taper toward the rear and the wagon doesn't so they may have trimmed car fenders and widened the inner wheel tub on the suburban. That's the case with my ute and most of the rusty old flange on some donor sedan fenders wasn't required and was trimmed off, easiest of rust repairs ;)
Stephen,
As far as I know the rear fenders on the wagons are unique to the wagon. Also, the fenders are different between the '40, '41 and the the '42-'48 models. They can be hard to find.

Jim, do you have any parts left over from the 3 and a half cars you were using to make your car? Rear fenders and perhaps a dash are on the wish list.
Stephen,
I sent you a PM.
