Title: Plymouth Registry Question
Post by: XmikeyX on January 30, 2008, 09:54:10 PM
Is there a registry for Plymouths? I wanted to see if there were some other 1953 Plymouth 2dr HT owners out there.

Years ago, the Plymouth Club began collecting data on the cars known to exist.  For the most part, the data was gathered from 1928 to 1942.  With the induction of later model cars into the club, the data has been gathered but is not on a data base at this time.  As I'm away from home, I don't have access to the car roster, so can't tell you how many 53 sport coupes are registered.....

In the experimental on-line roster, I see 59 people that list 1953 Plymouths. I don't see any "2dr" or "two" in the body style description nor do I see any with "hard" (as in hard top) in the style description. However there are 9 people that list 1953 model year cars with "Sport Coupe" in the description.

Looking at your photo I wonder if Sport Coupe is what you have. (I am pretty ignorant of body styles post WW2.)
