Title: Paint color.
Post by: notdavidspade on December 13, 2007, 08:38:27 PM
I'm deciding what color to paint my 41 and bought a color chip sheet from ebay.  I'd like to see a picture of some plymouths painted any color, but in particular, purser green, or some of the other greens. Tiny 30 year old paint chips just aren't cutting it.  Thanks!!

Hi,

Go to (www.autocolorlibrary.com) website and they can provide you with the exact paint match formular for the 41 plymouths. I have used them without any problem.

Bert.

I've been to the auto color library, and although very helpful in showing what colors were available, its still just a scanned copy of the color chart that I already have.  I'd really like it if everyone would reply the the tread with pictures of their cars.  Or better yet, perhaps a moderator could set up a gallery area that we could all post pictures to.   I'll go first!  Here is my project!

Hi, I posted a picture of my 41 business coupe on parts and paper yesterday to go fleiter from captbrian41. That's an original paint finish that was brought back by hand with rubbing compound (white) and turtle wax. I'm not sure of the color eventhough I looked at the color chart. There are two that are close.
