Title: Upper control arm eccentric bushing/clamp-1939-P-8
Post by: DENNIS P NOLAN on November 03, 2007, 05:18:55 PM
Hi..I need the help of the club-I want to change the upper-outer control arm bushing. I see in the workshop manual
it says to loosen the clamp screw which holds the bushing and back it out.BUT, it also says with spring removed!! Can I just jack up the car, loosen the clamp and remove/replace this bushing???This isn't 'loaded'-? in that I would have to get the spring removed is it??-I just want to remove/replace..this is a large nut type of configuration..thoughts-?After removal and replacement-then it can go for alignment-Thanks,Dennis
