Title: 1951 Plymouth Paint info
Post by: talloil on January 17, 2006, 11:06:33 PM
We are restoring a 1951 Plymouth.  Can anyone help with paint colours?  It is a medium blue.  I don't know where to to look for a code number.  If anyone can help with a formula or a code in Dupont we'd appreciate it.        Thanks

If you're in Canada (I'm guessing because you have a 'u' in color) they probably used different paint colors up there.? I think Canadian cars had the color code on the body plate. A Canadian shop manual might have the information you need.
