What is the Autolite number for Autolite spark plugs that will work in a 1940 Plymouth flat head?

Autolite 295 is a non-resistor and 306 is a resistor plug. Both will fit.

Bob-

I found the folowing info in the 1972? Champion Wholesaler Catalog:

For 1942 and earlier Plymouth engines:? Champion? J-11

Cross reference to Autolite:? Autolite? AT8 or Autolite A9

You would probably be OK with Champion J-8 (slightly colder plug), which cross references to: Autolite AT6 or Autolite A7

Thanks, I just called NAPA in Ellenville, they will have the Autolite AT8's for me tomorrow
