Title: Radiator replacement for 53 Cranbrook
Post by: Alabama on September 06, 2007, 06:19:00 PM
Hi, First post here.
I am looking for a new radiator and I am not sure what newer radiator will work as a replacement and what rigging I may have to do to get it to fit. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks, Paul  1953 Cranbrook club coupe.

53 and 54 Plymouth radiators will interchange.  It is possible that 55 56  six cylinder radiators will fit but that is about the limit .  You are better off to have your original radiator re cored.  Could cost about $300.

put a high performance radiator core! It will help you not to overheat in traffic jams

I found one on E-Bay last year... It worked fine!
