Title: information on a 42/46 plymouth
Post by: oldguy on January 11, 2006, 12:44:06 PM
Hello. I am a new member. Don't own a plymouth right now, but have my eye on one (long distance). The seller has no title ( a separate problem I will have to deal with) and doesn't know anything about the car. From pictures, it looks like a 42 or 46. He has 2 numbers.  Body number I think - 502EA11650 and the vin? 20242245. It is a 2 door coupe.
I have been looking for a 39 to 41 for some time and this is as close as I can find within my budget.  Can anyone here tell me about this car? pro's and con's?  Is there a big price difference between this and the 39-41 models?
Thanks for any help. Don

Don - the car is a 1948 Special Deluxe Club Coupe - built in the Evansville, Indiana assembly plant.

Thanks, that helps a lot. Any opinion on this particular year/model?
